The concept for this family-style red sauce joint is the fruit of Chef Paul Ferzacca’s Italian heritage, his famous family deep-dish pizzas and his Mama’s meatballs. The interior, inspired by traditional Chicago Italian restaurants, was tasked to compete with the strong contemporary existing architecture. This restaurant, swathed in Italian marble, leather and mosaics, includes a coal-fired pizza oven within an exhibition kitchen and an old style deli.
