StudioAtlantis was presented with a challenge to develop and present new methods of merchandising and engaging the customer at the retail level for a client that has an enormous quantity and breadth of product, a very large floor plate and is already quite successful.


StudioAtlantis worked closely with Cabelas and their architectural team to fully explore and develop the customer journey, sightlines, targeted messaging and merchandising presentation techniques utilized throughout their stores.


We developed a “racetrack” layout on angle which allowed the customer to fully explore the store while being lead to new locations through the use of sightlines and key focals. SA keyed the secondary tiered fixtures on angle with a developed cross merchandise mix to educate the customer on more complex product and developed key signage to focus the customer on specific product zones.
